... What's hot

SerNet is a Linux system house.
Therefore, we only accept applications for the technical division if you:
- possess excellent knowledge of Linux,
- can show extensive experience in the application areas of networks and IP,
- are able to pass on your know-how to clients in the manner of a tutor
- or you can show references for participation in projects.
As of 2003/2004 there are no open sales positions at SerNet.
Internships are only open to secondary school students for 2-3-week periods, and to college students for ˝-year periods. However, we do not offer employment development training, with one exception:
SerNet makes it an effort to increase the number of women in the IT field. We therefore generally give preference to female applicants.
If interested please send an email to: Jobs@SerNet.DE.

... What's not

SerNet is not a Windows house. We do not support operating systems created by Microsoft.
SerNet is not a web or content design company.
SerNet does not support any Windows applications except for machine-oriented infrastructure services such as Mail, Web, GroupWare etc.). In other words, we do not offer support for any Office software, ERP software, or anything else along these lines.
SerNet does not develop software and therefore does not hire any software developers. This also includes Linux kernel and Linux applications, as well as the higher script languages such as Perl or PHP.
SerNet does not provide any training beyond the scope of free software. SerNet therefore does not consider applicants' manufacturer-specific certificates. Particularly irrelevant are, for instance, MCP or MCSE.
In respect to prospective interns, unfortunately SerNet can only consider applications made at least 3 months in advance, whereby the applicant can commit to at least three months.
